About RODAVAR
Is RODAVAR a government institution?
No. We are a private advisory and management company; we do not represent the DGME, COSEVI or UNHCR, nor any government institution. What we do is guide you and speed up your procedure.
Which procedures do you handle?
We guide you through license exchange, medical certificate, immigration renewals (DIMEX and special categories), refugee ID and fingerprint appointments. We also manage social media for businesses.
Do you serve the whole country?
Yes. The service is online and valid across all of Costa Rica. Some appointments are in person depending on the procedure, and in those cases we tell you the office and coordinate everything for you.
Do you serve foreigners?
Yes. We help both nationals and foreigners. You only need your valid ID (cédula, DIMEX or passport, depending on the procedure).
Do you manage social media for companies?
Yes. We have social media management packages for businesses that want to look professional and grow. You can see the details on our social media page.
Payments & pricing
Do the prices include the government costs?
No. Our prices are service fees for the assistance and management. The official costs of each procedure (for example, the payment at the BCR or the DGME) are paid separately and directly to the corresponding institution.
How can I pay?
You coordinate the payment of our fees directly over WhatsApp with your advisor. Write to us and we'll gladly confirm the available payment methods before we start.
Why are your fees separate from the official costs?
For transparency. We want you to know exactly what you're paying for our management service and what corresponds to the official cost of the procedure. That way there are no surprises.
Procedures
Is the medical certificate fully virtual?
The management, coordination and registration are done online to save you lines. The assessment is carried out by a doctor registered with the Colegio de Médicos; we coordinate everything so it's quick and convenient.
Do you guarantee approval of the procedure?
We assist with and speed up the process, and we make sure you submit everything correctly. However, the final approval depends on the competent authority, not on us.
How do I get started?
Very easy: write to us on WhatsApp and tell us which procedure you need. We advise you with no commitment, gather the requirements and handle it for you.
How long do you take to reply?
We reply on WhatsApp as soon as possible within our business hours. If you write to us outside those hours, we get back to you as soon as we resume.
